Police Reports 10-12-15

St. Mary Parish Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Hodges Matthews, 36, of 105 Texas St., Lafayette, was arrested on Friday at 8:59 a.m. on a warrant charging him domestic abuse battery. The warrant stems from an investigation into a complaint of a disturbance at a residence in Amelia. Matthews was released after posting bond.
Jamie Charles, 31, of 128 Sorrel Lane #3, Sorrell, was arrested on Friday at 10:08 a.m. on a warrant from the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department charging him with failure to notify law enforcement of a change of address as a sex offender and unlawful use of social networking as a sex offender. No bail was set.
Jasmine J. Washington, 31, of 307 Barrow St., Morgan City, was arrested on Friday at 11:39 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.
Nakeisa Walker, 36, of 142 Polaris Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested on Friday at 7:50 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods. Walker was released on a summons to appear in court.
Dawn Goleman Lancon, 32, of 106 Mill Road, Patterson, was arrested at 8:12 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace, possession of Legend Drug (naproxen sodium) without a prescription and possession of Legend Drug (Celebrex) without a prescription. No bail was set.
Kilna Marshall, 41, of 6358 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested on Saturday at 1:24 p.m. on a charge of aggravated battery. No bail was set.
Brandon Cormier, 33, of 1514 North Green St., Basile, was arrested on Sunday at 10:18 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on a charge of issuing worthless checks. No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Shemar Kelker, 27, of Cayce Street, Franklin, on Friday at 9:54 a.m. on warrants from Sept. 16, 2015 charging cruelty to a juvenile and aggravated battery. No bond was set.
LaQuandre Freeman, 19, of Scottie Street, Franklin, was arrested on Saturday at 6:08 p.m. on warrants charging him with an expired MVI sticker, no lights, no driver’s license and resisting an officer. Freeman was held on bond.
Demondre Watson, 19, of Gum St., Franklin, was arrested on Sunday at 4:56 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Watson was released on bond.
Brad Jones, 18, of Ibert Street, Franklin, was arrested on Sunday at 4:56 a.m. on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Jones was released on bond.
Tyjean Lockley, 23, of Ronnie Street, Baldwin, was arrested on Sunday at 11:50 a.m. on a warrant for Third Ward City Court charging him with failure to appear on the charge of driving through a private parking lot.
Kailynn Verrett, 19, of Eagle Street, Franklin, was arrested on Sunday at 6:20 p.m. on warrants for Baldwin Police Department charging her with attempted second degree murder, illegal carrying of weapons, illegal discharge of a firearm and inciting a riot. Verrett was transported to the Baldwin Police Department.
Steven Richard, 34, of Anderson Street, Franklin, was arrested on Monday at 12:52 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated and driving left of center. No bond was set.
Charles Pellerin, 36, of Sterling Road, Franklin, was arrested on Monday at 12:52 a.m. on charges of possession of schedule 1 narcotics, open container, possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription (Quetiapine fumurate) and abuse of toxic vapors. No bond was set.
