Police Reports 10-17-13

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:
Christopher J. Dyson, 30, of Erath, was arrested Wednesday at 12:08 p.m. on warrants charging him with simple burglary and theft. Dyson was transported from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on the warrants. The warrants stem from an investigation into a theft of several hundred gallons of fuel and a vehicle burglary occurring on the property of a business in the Patterson area in mid-September. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Cole Z. Fruge, 22, of 1302 Saturn Road, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 7:31 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods in connection with a complaint of shoplifting in Bayou Vista. He was released on a summons.
Dena Phillips, 52, of 121 Bayouview Drive, Charenton, was arrested Wednesday at 10:07 p.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated, failure to dim lights, no auto insurance and expired license plate. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Sheriff’s narcotics agents arrested Kenneth Ray Allen Jr., 46, of 109 Saturn Road. Bayou Vista, Wednesday at 7:03 p.m. on charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Kathy L. Daniels, 50, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:41 a.m., on a warrant from Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of no seat belt, suspended driver’s license and expired license plate. She was released on a $450 cash bond.
Ariel A. Darby, 18, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 1:08 p.m., on a warrant from Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charges of simple battery, battery on a teacher and disturbing the peace by fighting. Darby was released on a $225.50 cash bond.
Daeon Johnson, 23, of Second Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:50 p.m., on a warrant from Third Ward City Court for failure to appear on the charge of open alcohol container. Johnson was held on a $272 cash bond.
Geraldine Randle, 51, of JA Hernandez Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 9:37 p.m., on a charge of disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Bond was set at $250.
Frank Welch Jr., 67, of Anderson Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 12:18 a.m., on charges of driving while intoxicated, and hit and run following an accident on Anderson Street. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Adam Randle, 31, of Franklin, was arrested today at 12:25 a.m., on a charge of disturbing the peace by intoxication. Bond was set at $250.
