Police Reports 10-18-13

A suspect in a November 2011 shooting has been arrested by Franklin Police.
Chief Sabria McGuire said Jonmario Jackson, 26, of Houston was arrested Thursday at 1034 a.m. on a warrant charging him with two counts of attempted second-degree murder in connection with the incident in which gunshots were fired at a vehicle with two passengers inside. No one was injured.
Jackson was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office in Houston and extradited back to Louisiana. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
McGuire also reported the arrest of
Ray Picard, 45, of Hamm St., Franklin, Thursday at 4:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with aggravated second-degree battery with medical attention. He was released on a $10,000 bond.
Three people were arrested Thursday after St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s narcotics agents conducted a search warrant on a Franklin residence.
Keith Dwayne Robinson, 33, and Samantha Ann Moore, 30, both of 1029 James St., were booked at 9:10 a.m. on numerous charges following the search that began at 7:20 a.m.
Robinson was charged with distribution of cocaine and marijuana, second offense possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, violation of a drug free zone and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Moore was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a CDS in the presence of a juvenile, violation of a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bonds had not been set as of this morning.
Also charged was Tabatha Ann Adams, 27, of 133 Beau Chene Lane, Franklin, on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was released on summons.
In unrelated activity, Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Brandon Barrilleaux, 29, of 22 Mars Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 1:39 p.m. at Wal-Mart in Bayou Vista on charges of simple criminal damage to property and theft. He was placed under arrest transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration. While at the jail he was found to have several pills on his person and was additionally charged with introduction of contraband into a jail. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Kenneth Francis, 37, of 102 Bernard St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 1:58 p.m. at the parish jail after transport from Texas on charges of failure to appear in court for trial on charges of possession with intent to distribute Alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to return verification of address as a registered sex offender. Bond was set at $15,000.
Angelo Roy Walker, 51, of 778 Verdunville Road, Verdunville, was arrested Thursday at 9:28 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. Bond was set at $500.
