Police Reports 10-3-13

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Joseph McDaniel, 32, of Third Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 8:11 a.m. on charges of driving under suspension, expired motor vehicle inspection and expired license plate. He was released on $1,500 bond.
Courtney Dupas, 30, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:52 a.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Shondra Thomas, 31, of Kerry Street, Baldwin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:09 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released on $250 bond.
Markila Ruffin, 20, of Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 7:09 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. No bond was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Christine Crane, 43, of 854 Parish Road 151, Verdunville, was arrested Wednesday at 11:31 a.m. on a warrant charging her with criminal trespassing. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Gregory Parker, no age given, of 1522 Bernice St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 11:53 a.m. on a warrant charging him with domestic abuse battery, simple criminal damage to property and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. No bond was set.
Christopher Oubre, no age given, of 153 La. 182, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 12:46 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana. He was released on a summons.
Danny Blair II, 19, of 107 Landry Lane, Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 12:48 p.m. on a warrant charging him with theft. No bond was set.
Alan Bennett, 30, of 250 Muaril St., Morgan City was arrested Wednesday at 4:59 p.m. on a Patterson warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released to Patterson police.
Demetrius Green, 24, of 629 Egle St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 5:33 p.m. on a charge of t heft of goods. He was released on a summons.
Rufus Ackman,44, of 479 Hunting Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. on a charge of leash law violation. He was released on a summons.
Ashley Jennies, 26, of 1511 Ohio St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 7:37 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods. She was released on a summons.
Jesse Hart, 21, of 405 Blum St., Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 7:23 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to comply with drug court. He was held on $100,000 bond.
Dustin Pike, 17, of 349 Hunting Road, Ricohoc, and Jennifer Hatfield, 46, of 358 Hunting Road, Ricohoc, were arrested Wednesday at 12:08 a.m. on charges of simple burglary of a vehicle and resisting an officer by giving false information.
Deputies responded to a report of a business burglary on La. 182 in the Franklin area. Upon arrival, a witness provided a description of a vehicle including the license plate number. During the course of the investigation, deputies located the suspect vehicle and the alleged stolen items were later located at a residence on Hunting road. Pike and Hatfield were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Sheriff’s Office Narcotics division agents reported the arrest of Jonathan Anthony Mayea, 28, of 1510 Chestnut Drive, Morgan City, Wednesday at 7:21 p.m. on charges of possession of crack cocaine, aggravated battery on an officer with a vehicle, flight from an officer, littering, improper lane use and no turn signal. No bond was set.
