Police Reports 10-7-14
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Craig Alexander, 32, of 100 North Coulee Road, Baldwin, was arrested Monday at 10:41 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was released on $1,400 bond.
Richard Giroir, 54, of 609 Arenz St., Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 4:05 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft of goods. No bond was set.
Bradley Vincent, 33, of Baton Rouge, was arrested Monday at 6:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and disturbing the peace by alarming the public. No bond was set.
Jerry Tucker, 52, of Basile, La., was arrested Monday at 6:35 p.m. on a warrant charging him with aggravated incest. In August, the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division began an investigation into a complaint of aggravated incest that reportedly occurred in 2011. During the course of the investigation, the detective assigned to the case learned that Tucker allegedly inappropriately touched a female victim on multiple occasions at a residence in Ricohoc. The victim was 11 years old at the time the molestations occurred. No bond is set.
Joseph E. Brown, 31, of Raceland, was arrested Monday at 7:16 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of domestic abuse battery and simple criminal damage to property. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Eddie Elliott, 37, of Baton Rouge, Monday at 5:58 p.m. on charges of possession marijuana and drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and by a convicted felon and transactions involving drug proceeds. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Joel Rozas, 26, of Lafayette, Monday at 7:43 p.m. on a charge of DWI. He was released on $2,500 bond.
Markila Ruffin, 21, of Easy Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 10:34 p.m. on a warrant charging her with five counts of issuing worthless checks and released on $1,500 bond.
Donsaray Spain, 23, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 1:17 a.m. on a 15th Judicial District Court failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft of goods under $500. He was held on $500 bond.
Keith David, 29, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 1:27 a.m. on a Third Ward Court warrant charging him on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of no driver’s license. He was released on $125 bond.
