Police Reports 11-19-13

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:
Jose Lisandro Barajas-Birrueta, 21, of 171 Foxglove St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 4:16 a.m. on charges of three counts of enticing persons into prostitution, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, illegal use of a weapon and computer aided solicitation of a minor. Deputies responding to a complaint of an armed robbery made contact with Barajas-Birrueta. During the course of the investigation, Barajas-Birrueta showed deputies text messages discussing the exchange of money for sexual acts. Deputies also learned that he and another male subject discharged a firearm on La. 182 in the Patterson area and that Barajas-Birrueta gave a 16-year-old female a pack of cigarettes. No bond was set.
Michael Miller, 36, of 204 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 10:15 a.m. on a charge of remaining where forbidden. He was released on $500 bond.
Areana Candaneda, 22, of 2602 Lake Palourde Road, Lot 5, Amelia, was arrested Monday at 10:49 a.m. on a charge of theft of goods. She was released on a summons.
Shawn Boudreaux, 34, of 179 Martin Road, Centerville, was arrested Monday at 12:01 p.m. on a warrant charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on $1,500 bond.
Laquita Ross, 35, of Thibodaux, was arrested Monday at 1:47 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was issued a summons.
Robyn Blanc, 28, of 1313 Middle Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested today at 1:19 a.m. on a charge of possession of Schedule I narcotics. She was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Deshunn Hardickman, 23, of New Iberia, Monday on charges of flight from an officer, three counts of stop sign violation, reckless operation, no insurance and resisting by giving false information. No bond was set.
