Police Reports 12-1-14
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests from the past holiday weekend:
Ashley Charles, 24, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 4:18 p.m., on a warrant charge of theft over $500 and later released on a $3,000 bond.
Adam Randle, 32, of Iberia Street Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:05 a.m. on charges of simple criminal damage to property and remaining where forbidden, and on warrants charging him with resisting an officer, battery of a police officer, disturbing the peace by public intoxication, remaining where forbidden, and criminal damage to property. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
The following three arrests stem from officers responding to a vehicle burglary Sunday, at a business on Main Street. Officers identified a suspect vehicle involved in the crime and located the vehicle in the area of Fourth Street and O’Neal Chube.
Upon locating the vehicle, it was discovered the vehicle was reported as stolen and some of the contents in the vehicle were reported as stolen as well.
Charged at 11:49 a.m. with possession of stolen things and principal to simple burglary were Morena Penrice, 18, Quaeshia Penrice, 19, and Charles Haskell, 25, all of Houston.
Bonds had not been set as of this morning.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Susana Hernandez, 28, of 233 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested on Wednesday at 9:47 p.m. on a charge of hit and run driving and released on a summons.
Christopher L. Saverse, 32, of 306 Jonson Street, Houma, was arrested Wednesday at 9:14 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of direct contempt and speeding. He was released after paying a $298.50 fine.
Kris Myers, 36, of 321 La. 182, Lot 5B, Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 5:16 a.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
David J. Tabb Jr., 26, of 2400 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 8:58 p.m. on a charge of simple burglary in connection with the theft of auto batteries. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Edwin Young Jr., 35, of 188 Mary Garrett Lane, Charenton, was arrested Friday at 3:10 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of operating a vehicle improperly equipped with a television and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Kristie L. Adams, 35, of Napoleonville, was arrested Friday at 2:08 p.m. on charges of cruelty to the infirm, disturbing the peace, criminal trespass and remaining where forbidden. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Johnny Whitfield, 65, of 759 Degraville Road, Amelia, was arrested Friday at 9 p.m. for on a charge of riding a bicycle without proper lighting and on a warrant for probation violation. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
John May Jr., 24, of 102 Janet Lane, Amelia, was arrested Saturday at 12:32 a.m. on charges of driving without headlights, expired inspection sticker, driving under suspension, switched license plate, no insurance, second offense possession of marijuana, violation of a controlled dangerous substance law in a drug free zone and on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of careless operation of a motor vehicle with an accident, expired inspection and no insurance. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
James A. Graves, 23, of Houma, was arrested Saturday at 12:55 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Gregory Payne, 39, of 1900 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 3:40 p.m. on a charge of resisting an officer and on three warrants for failure to appear on charges of criminal neglect of family. His bond is set at $45,574.36.
Bryan Johnlouis, 42, of 2124 Time St., Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 5:24 p.m. for failure to appear on charges of remaining where forbidden, criminal trespass and disturbing the peace intoxicated. Bond was set at $4,000.
Paulino Lopes-Garcia, 29, of 110 Tommy Lane, Amelia, was arrested Saturday at 7:50 p.m. for speeding, expired inspection sticker, no driver’s license and flight from an officer. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Amanda Ramos, 29, of 123 Burchfield Lane, Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 11:32 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Shawn McCauley, 37, of 2858 Fourth Street, Berwick, was arrested Sunday at 9:52 a.m. on two warrants from Berwick Police for violation of a protective order and domestic abuse battery. He was turned over to Berwick authorities.
Gerry Duncan, 49, of Thibodaux, was arrested Sunday at 2:13 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods. Bond was set at $1,000.
Devon Marsh, 22, of 1048 Ciro Street, Siracusaville, was arrested Sunday at 4:43 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of direct contempt, operating a vehicle with improper tail lights, improper lane usage and failure to honor written promise to appear. He was later released on a $344.50 bail.
Jose Tobias-Garcia, 29, of 115 West Syls Lane, Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 8:37 p.m. on charges of reckless operation of vehicle, simple criminal damage to property over $500 and possession of alcoholic beverages in a motor vehicle.
