St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Jose Ainsworth, 45, of 7212 US 90 East, Apt. 24, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 11:37 a.m. on a warrant charging him with second degree battery. He was released on a summons.
Aleta Prince, 43, of 234 Florence St., Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 4:03 p.m. on a charge of simple criminal damage to property and was released on a summons.
Laros Washington, 59, of Odile Lane, Lot 53, Amelia, was arrested Wednesday at 4:08 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, second offense. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Wanya Francis, 20, of 1503 Live Oak St., Patterson, Wednesday at 1:08 p.m. on a charge of threatening a public official. No bond was set.
Stacey Grubb, 34, of 146 Shady Grove St., Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 2:02 p.m. on failure to appear warrants on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession in the presence of a juvenile, possession of drug paraphernalia and Schedule I drugs. No bond was set.
Cole Fruge, 23, of 1302 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. on charges of operation of a clandestine laboratory in an alleged methamphetamine manufacturing incident. No bond was set.
Jonathan Motte, 30, of 104 Oak St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 7:59 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana and released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Avery Perro, 35, of Elm Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 3:04 p.m. on district court failure to appear warrants on charges of third offense domestic abuse battery and criminal neglect of family. He was held on $14,231 bond.
Jean Peters, 34, of Elm Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 3:04 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on charges of fishing without a license and misrepresentation during booking. He was released on a personal recognizance bond.
