Police Reports 12-8-14

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests from the past weekend:
Brennan Navy, 24, of Pecan Drive, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:35 p.m. on a warrant issued by 3rd Ward City Court for failure to appear on a charge of carrying a concealed weapon. Bond was set at $533.
Ericka Willis, 34, of Seventh Street, Franklin, and Claude Colbert III, 41, of Ninth Street, Franklin, were arrested Friday at 5:21 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, keeping a disorderly place and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor.
The arrests stemmed from execution of a search warrant at a Seventh street residence by Franklin police with assistance from Patterson and Chitimacha police and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Both Willis and Colbert were released after $33,500 bonds.
Vontrell Loston, 28, of La. 668, Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 9:07 p.m. on warrants charging him with intimidating a witness and phone harassment. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Samantha Landry, 27, of 4309 La. 14, New Iberia, was arrested Friday at 5:58 p.m. on a warrant charging her with shoplifting and released on a summons.
Jason Giroir, 36, of 316 Cedar St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 7:41 p.m. on a charge of simple criminal damage to property and released on a summons.
Paul Daigle, 36, of 101 3B’s Lane, Apt 20, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 6:15 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Roger Grow, 47, of 315 Iowa St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 11:07 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of criminal neglect of family. Bond was set at $24,757.25.
John Costales, 30, of 122 First St, Boutte, was arrested Sunday at 3:15 p.m. on charges of hit and run and driving while intoxicated. He was released on a summons.
Breiana Gant, 22, of 323 Martin Luther King Ave., Patterson, was arrested Sunday on a warrant charging her with shoplifting.
Gant turned herself in and was later released on a summons.
