Police Reports 2-16-16

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Yvishia Levine, 25, of Third Street, Patterson, while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, was arrested Friday at 5:26 p.m. and charged on warrants charging her with violation of a protective order and resisting an officer. Levine was held with no bond set.
Brian Waguespack, 39, of St. Nicholas Street, Jeanerette, was arrested Sunday at 3:34 p.m. and charged on a warrant for Jeanerette Police Department for domestic abuse battery. Waguespack was transported to Jeanerette Police Department.
Christopher Jones, 30, of 1112 Pecan Lane, Jeanerette, was arrested Sunday at 6:40 p.m. and charged with illegal possession of stolen things. Jones was also arrested and charged on a warrant for Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office for simple burglary, theft, criminal trespassing and criminal damage to property. Jones was also arrested on a warrant for Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charge of theft. Jones was held with no bond set.
Samantha Jones, 32, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 9 p.m. and charged on a warrant for the charge of simple battery. Jones was released on a $307 cash bond.
Nathan Batiste, 28, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 10:10 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics (synthetic cannibinoids) with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Batiste was held with no bond set.
Quincy Jones, 35, of Wilson Stret, Jeanerette, was arrested Monday at 3:27 a.m. and charged with possession of Schedule II narcotics (methamphetamine), misrepresentation during booking and resisting an officer by giving false information. Jones was released on a $15,000 bond.
David Provost, 29, of Ash Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 11:15 p.m. and charged with careless operation and no driver’s license. Provost was held on a $1,000 bond.
Jonathan Robinson, 35, of Ninth Street, Franklin, turned himself into the Franklin Police Department and was arrested Monday at 11:45 a.m. and charged on warrants charging him with telephone communications (improper language), simple assault, cyberstalking, simple assault and telephone communications (improper language). Robinson was released on a $3,000 bond.
Warren Hines, 61, of Fournier Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 9:29 p.m. and charged on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court pm the charge of simple cruelty to animals. Hines was released on a $10,000 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Jakeysha M. Broussard, 31, of Abbeville, was arrested Friday at 5:54 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and driving under suspension. Broussard was released on a $1,500 bond.
Harold Perkins Jr., 37, of Houma, was arrested Friday at 9:46 a.m. and charged on warrants for failure to appear on the charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set.
Yvishia Levine, 25, of 1209 Third St., Patterson, was arrested Friday at 12:37 p.m. and charged on Franklin Police Department warrants for violating a protective order and resisting an officer. No bail was set.
Minh Lam, 59, of Bayou L’Ourse, was arrested Friday at 12:24 p.m. and charged with speeding and driving under suspension, second offense. Lam was released on a summons to appear in court.
Joshua T. Miller, of 117 Laura Drive, Patterson, was arrested Friday at 3:45 p.m. and charged on a warrant for pornography involving juveniles. Bail was set at $300,000.
Johnathan Rollins, 28, of 163 Gibbs Road, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 7:15 p.m. and charged on a warrant for criminal neglect of family. Rollins was released on an $885 recognizance bond.
Alfred Gabriel, 55, of 158½ Gabriel St., Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 6:45 a.m. and charged on a warrant from Chitimacha Tribal Police for two counts attempted second degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unauthorized use of a movable. No bail was set.
Jaime Quintanilla Sr., 58, of 337 Southeast Blvd., Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 4:36 p.m. and charged with obscenity. No bail was set.
Dona F. Sniffen, 26, of 715 Versoin St., Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 10:12 p.m. and charged for violating the maximum speed limit law and improper lane usage. Sniffen was released on a summons to appear in court.
Clifford J. Johnson. Jr., 34, of 148 Jones Road #2, Four Corners, was arrested Sunday at 3:37 p.m. and charged with the following offenses: obstructing public passages, general speed law, resisting an officer, obstruction of justice, illegal carrying of weapons (brass knuckles), possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute Schedule IV (Xanax), possession with intent to distribute MDMA (ecstasy), violation of a controlled dangerous substance law in a drug free zone, transactions involving proceeds from illegal drug sales and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson was later released after posting $30,000 bond.
Carlos Alberto Rivera, 24, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday at 3:46 a.m. and charged with unlawful production, manufacturing, distribution or possession of fraudulent documents. No bail was set.
Kim Dekerlegand, 50, of 435 Teche Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 11:38 a.m. and charged with off road vehicle on a public roadway. Dekerlegand was released on a summons.
Michael Everitt Jr., 39, of 539 Clarke Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 8:32 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of child desertion. Bail was set at $2,500.
Brent J. Bridges, 30, of 132 Vaughn Lane, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 7:35 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine), possession of Schedule II (Norco), possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription and entering contraband into a penal institution. No bail was set.
Juvenile female, 16, of Patterson, was arrested Monday at 11:19 p.m. and charged with runaway juvenile. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Breanna M. Warren, 24, of Youngsville, was arrested Monday at 11:11 p.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and careless operation of a motor vehicle. No bail is set.
Dallas Hamlett, 21, of 102 Rizzo St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 12:51 a.m. and charged with simple burglary (vehicle) and unauthorized use of an access card. No bail was set.
