Police Reports 2-2-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Glenn Womack, 50, of 611 Seventy Nine Pines Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 9:32 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail is set at $48,535.
Vincent Thomas Jr., 22, of 106 Mount St., Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 5:44 p.m. and charged with a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana third offense, operating a vehicle with a suspended license, improper turn/failure to give required signal, seven Morgan City Court warrants for failure to appear on three charges of contempt of court and charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids, resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of stolen things. No bail was set.
Shane Scott, 32, of 1201 Spruce St., Morgan City, was arrested Monday at 9:45 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle with a suspended license. No bail was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Anthony Wilson Jr., 20, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 4:52 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana) with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule II narcotics (cocaine) with intent to distribute and resisting an officer. No bond was set.
Brandon Schexnayder, 39, of Milling Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 6:55 p.m. and charged on a warrant for 16th Judicial District Court charging him with failure to appear on the charges of resisting an officer with force, no motor vehicle inspection and suspended driver’s license. Schexnayder was held with no bond set.
Shakyra Young, 18, of Plantation Drive, Franklin was arrested Tuesday at 12:55 a.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Young was also arrested on a warrant on the charge of simple battery. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
Frederick McDaniel, 59, of Willow Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 12:20 a.m. and charged with possession of Schedule II narcotics (cocaine), possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. McDaniel was also arrested on a warrant charging him with theft by shoplifting. McDaniel was held with no bond set.
Dea’vnta Burden, 23, of La. 83, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 12:48 a.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics (third offense) and possession of Schedule II narcotics (cocaine). Burden was also arrested on warrants with 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on the charges of criminal damage to property, simple battery, simple robbery and simple battery. Burden was held with no bond set.
Doriel Welch, 28, of Bray Lane, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 7:31 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of no tail lights. Welch was released on a $230.50 cash bond.
