Police Reports 2-23-16
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Thuong V. Bui, 36, of New Iberia, was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
Brett Begnaud, 25, and Jeremy J. Comeaux, 28, both of New Iberia, were both arrested Sunday and charged with domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
Ryan C. Olivier, 24, of New Iberia, Dillon B. Dupont, 24, of Breaux Bridge and Rusty J. Veronie of St. Martinville were all three arrested Sunday for disturbing the peace by fighting. They were all released on a summons.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Tiffany L. Romero, 36, of 105 Nichole Lane, Berwick, was arrested Monday at 3:44 p.m. and charged with hit and run driving, driving left of center, expired inspection sticker, no insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,250.
Kenneth Blanchard II, 17, of 10827 La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 7:40 p.m. and charged with burglary of an inhabited dwelling. No bail was set.
Tomoz Allen, 20, of Patterson, and Dion Maize, 23, of Morgan City, were additionally charged with simple battery Friday at 1:45 p.m. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Harley N. Rentrop, 23, of 1224 South Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Monday at 5:17 p.m. and charged on a warrant for distribution of Schedule I drugs (marijuana and synthetic cannabinoids) and introduction of contraband into a penal institution. No bail was set. This is an ongoing investigation.
Jessica C. Bourgeois, 35, of 825 Two Brother’s St., Amelia, was arrested Monday at 8:04 p.m. and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoids and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bourgeois was released on a summons to appear in court.
