Police Reports 2-4-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
A juvenile male, 15, of Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 9:04 a.m. and charged with battery of a school teacher. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Johnny Freeman, 64, of 204 Rt. 1, La.. 87, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:13 a.m. and charged with driving under suspension and speeding. Freeman was released on a summons to appear in court.
Dean J. Beranek, 30, of 117 Burchfield Lane, Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 11:13 a.m. and charged on a Morgan City Police Department warrant for violation of a protective order. No bail was set.
Corey A. Mire, 27, of 116 Kellers Lane, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 6:54 p.m. and charged on the following warrants: warrant for resisting an officer, warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family, warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and failure to honor written promise to appear. Bail is set at $6,510.
Blake Bush, 22, of 1015 Oakdale St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:18 p.m. and charged with proper equipment required, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bush was released on a summons to appear in court.
A juvenile male, 13, Amelia, was arrested Wednesday at 10:08 p.m. and charged with criminal damage to property. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
Nancy Salinas, 35, of 113 Martin Lane, Amelia, was arrested Thursday at 12:53 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace (noise) and resisting an officer (giving false information). Bail is set at $1,500.
Judith Fabre, 23, of 213 Bridge Road, Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 4:42 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting, a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of failure to stop at a stop sign, operating a vehicle without a driver’s license on person, and failure to honor written promise to appear and a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear. Fabre’s bail is set at $1,245.
Schyler Stelly, 21, of 508 General Macarthur St., Morgan City, was arrested Thursday at 5:16 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. Stelly’s bail is set at $500.
Audry Farria, 25, of 153 Mars Rd., Apt. #3, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested Thursday at 5:16 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace (fighting). No bail was set for Farria.
