Police Reports 2-9-16

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:

Anthony Wilson Jr., 20, of Ninth Street, Franklin, while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, was arrested Friday at 3:08 p.m. and charged with distribution of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana). Wilson was held on a $10,000 bond.

Jimmy Sanders, 25, of Franklin, was arrested Friday at 4:06 p.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Sanders was released on a $100 cash bond.

Jonathan Sanders, 35, of South Penn Road, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:37 p.m. and charged on a warrant for Third Ward City Court for the charge of driving while intoxicated. Sanders was held on a $848 cash bond.

Stacy Case, 69, of La.. 182, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 1:46 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated first offense, possession of Schedule I narcotics (marijuana) second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia- second offense, license plate light required and open alcohol container. Case was held on $13,000 bond.

Caleb Decuir, 21, of Morris Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 12:38 a.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I narcotics third offense. Decuir was held with no bond set.

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:

Jason Terrell, 28, of Lafayette, was arrested Friday at 8:35 a.m. and charged on a warrant for criminal trespass. Terrell was released on a summons.

Banning Ohlin, 29, of 221 Belanger St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 11:45 a.m. and charged on a warrant for hit and run driving. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Joshua T. Miller, 20, of 117 Laura Drive, Patterson, was arrested Friday at 5:44 p.m. and charged on a warrant for aggravated crime against nature. No bail was set.

Devon Mitchell, 40, of 1200 Charles Lee St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 10 p.m. and charged with possession of Schedule I (marijuana) second offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $3,000 bond.

Thomas Engel Jr., 45, of Des Allemands , was arrested Saturday at 3:25 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace intoxicated. Engel was released on a summons.

Devonne Williams, 48, of 508 Barrow St., Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 8 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to return a leased movable. Williams was released on a $1,000 bond.

Juvenile male, 16, of Garden City, was arrested Saturday at 1:14 p.m. and charged with careless operation and no vehicle insurance. The juvenile was released on a summons pending juvenile court proceedings.

Daniel Williams, 25, of New Iberia, was arrested Saturday at 3 p.m. and charged with simple battery, disturbing the peace intoxicated, resisting an officer and a warrant for Iberia Parish sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. No bail was set.

Micah Thibodeaux, 27, of New Iberia, was arrested Saturday at 3:40 p.m. and charged with simple battery and disturbing the peace intoxicated. Thibodeaux was later released on $1,000 bail.
