Police Reports 3-19-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Demetrius King, 46, of 615 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 10:25 a.m. on a Houma warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was released to Houma authorities.
Samantha D. Leedom, 23, of 408 Darlene St,. Patter-son, was arrested Tuesday at 12:50 p.m. on a leash law violation. She was released on a summons.
Dennis Norwood, 23, of 555 Wheelis Lane, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 12:50 p.m. on a charge of simple assault and released on a summons.
John May Jr., 25, of 2019 West Side Park Lane, Ame-lia, was arrested Tuesday at 5:42 p.m. on a warrant charging him with theft. He was held on $1,000 bond.
A female juvenile, 16, of Charenton, was arrested Tuesday at 7:25 p.m. on charges of domestic abuse battery, battery on an officer and resisting an officer. She was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Jeffery T. Matherne, 37, of 127 Saint Clair St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 9:20 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released on $500 bond.
Jason Giroir, 37, of 316 Cedar St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 1:37 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of DWI with a child under 12. No bond was set.
Antonio Collins Jr., 30, of 101 Pluto Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 11:41 p.m. on a charge of second degree battery. No bond was set.
Chance M. Landry, 25, of 117 Pond Drive, Morgan City, was arrested today at 5:39 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of possession of alprazolam with intent to distribute and distribution of alprazolam. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Zuanita Chartrain, 22, of Robertson Street, Franklin, Wednesday at 6:31 a.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing. Chartain was released on $500 bond.
Renaldo Jones, 40, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 7:05 a.m. on a warrant charging him with theft under $500. He was released on $1,000 bond.
Sabrina Darby, 18, of Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 4:08 p.m. on charges of two counts disturbing the peace by loud and obscene language, remaining where forbidden and aggravated assault. No bond was set.
Walter Baker Jr., 53, of Eagle Street, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was held on $19,745 bond.
