Police Reports 3-20-15

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Laurie Waguespack, 37, of Main Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:35 p.m. on warrants charging her with aggravated assault and simple assault. She was released on $1,250 bond.
Jabrioanna Hunter, 20, of Joseph Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 4:18 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on traffic violations and failure to honor a written promise. She was also charged with a simple battery warrant and released on $859 bond.
Nicholas Bishop, 18, of Joan Drive, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 2:56 p.m. on a charge of aggravated assault and held on $1,000 bond.
Brian Sam, 47, of Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 7:23 p.m. on a charge of obscenity by urinating in public and held with no bond set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Nathaniel Paul, 22, of Morgan City, Friday at 8:57 a.m. on a charge of battery on a correction facility employee. No bond was set.
Edwin Rodgriguez-Torres, 38, of 1200 Barrow St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 1:56 p.m. on a state police warrant charging him with DWI, vehicular negligent injuring, careless operation and no driver’s license. No bond was set.
James Blevins, 43, of Amelia, was charged Friday at 3:30 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple burglary and was held on $20,000 bond.
Henry Dennis Jr., 31, of Franklin, was charged Friday at 3:22 p.m. on a warrant charging him with monetary instrument abuse and was held with no bond set.
Chantal Ruffin, 25, of 1402 James St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 3:24 p.m. on a warrant charging her with aggravated battery and was released on $2,500 bond.
Michael A. Phillips, 53, of New Iberia, was arrested Friday at 4:17 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing and was released on a summons.
Donivin Mingo, no age given, of 525 Bowman St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 11:37 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. No bond was set.
Denise A. Mason, 39, of 1156 River Road, Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 11:35 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and was released on $3,000 bond.
Ronald J. Barrow, 61, of 1021 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 7:22 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charge of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and a state parole violation. No bond was set.
Shawn M. Taylor, 36, of 1983 River Road, Lot 5, Berwick, was arrested Saturday at 10:48 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to comply with the terms and conditions of probation. No bond was set.
Luis Chaires, 21, of 802 Duval St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:06 a.m. on charges of open alcohol container, reckless operation and no insurance and released on a summons.
Jesus Olvera, 23, of West Side Drive, Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 12:14 a.m. on a charge of open alcohol container and released on a summons.
Earl Deare, 31, of 127 Proctor St., Jeanerette, was arrested Sunday at 11:06 a.m. on a warrant charging him with probation violation and held at $10,000 bond.
