Police Reports 4-21-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Jonah Madison, 21, of 403 Clark St., Franklin, was charged Tuesday at 10:22 a.m. on charges of disarming a peace officer and battery of a correctional facility employee. The jail security team at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center conducted an investigation and found evidence that Madison took a TASER cartridge from a correctional officer as the officer was placing Madison into a cell. The cartridge was recovered. Investigators also collected evidence that Madison struck a correctional officer while being moved into a cell during a separate incident. Madison remains incarcerated.
Seth A. Olander, 20, of 451 Alice B. Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 10:39 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and vehicle lighting violations. He was released on $3,750 bond.
Edward Bahwell Jr., 35, of 515 Domingue St., Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 3:28 p.m. on two failure to appear warrants on charges of violation of a recreational gear license requirement, expired boat registration certificate, and failure to change ownership registration. Bahwell was released on a $1,000 bond.
Ron R. Madison, 40, of 407 Rosebud St., Baldwin, was arrested Wednesday at 6:22 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender. Madison was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles in 1995. Madison reportedly failed to comply with sex offender registration requirements. No bail is set.
Renee Tabor, 40, of 1569 La. 317, Centerville, was arrested Tuesday at 9:13 p.m. on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription (Deplin). No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Timothy J. Marcel, 46, of Broussard, Wednesday at 10:44 a.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.
Jared Loupe, 38, of 3127 Wytchwood Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 8:32 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane use. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Spryng Wilson, 24, of Eagle St., Franklin, was charged Wednesday at 11:31 a.m. on a Third Ward Court failure to appear warrant on a charge of simple battery and was release on $332 bond.
Leroy Napoleon, 49, of Ash Street, Colfax, was arrested Wednesday at 5:40 p.m. on charges of DWI and a 27th Judicial District Court failure to appear warrant on a charge of traffic violation. No bond was set.
Garron Jackson, 48, of Alexandria, was arrested Wednesday at 6:19 p.m. on 35th Judicial District Court failure to appear warrants on a charge of not appearing at a probation revocation hearing. No bond was set.
