Police Reports 5-11-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past weekend:
Charmar L. Lindsey, 26, of Houston was arrested Friday at 10:11 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery in connection with an incident on Chatsworth Road in Franklin. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Sherry Whitaker, 41, of Houma, was arrested Friday at 3:36 p.m. on a warrant charging her with terrorizing after allegedly making a comment about leaving a bomb on the Amelia Belle casino boat following a bomb scare. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Randy Louis, 34, of 2708 Glover Street, Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 4:29 p.m. on a warrant charging him with contributing to the delinquency of juveniles and simple battery. Louis, a substitute teacher at the St. Mary Parish Alternative School, is accused of restraining a 9-year-old male student while instructing another student to strike him. Louis turned himself in to deputies and was transported to the parish jail. He was later released on a $1,500 bond. He has been relieved of his duties at the school by the St. Mary Parish School Board.
Patrick McEniry, 46, of 148 Jupiter Street, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 1:21 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was later released on a summons to appear in court.
William Doucet, 48, of Deridder, was arrested Saturday at 9:42 p.m. on a charge of unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Celeste Foster, 31, of Houma was arrested Saturday at 10:20 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving under suspension. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Matt Malkemus, 27, of 119 Francis St., Amelia, was arrested Saturday at 11:54 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was later released on a summons to appear in court.
Chitimacha acting police Chief Ellen Hebert reported the following arrests:
Rita May Fields, 38, of Thibodaux, was arrested Sunday on a charge of simple assault and released on a summons.
Darrell Toups, 30, of Houma was arrested Sunday on a charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. He was jailed with no bond set.
Taylor Darden, 21, of Charenton was arrested Sunday on charges of hindering law enforcement and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a summons.
Elliot McLean, 23, of New Iberia was arrested Sunday on a charge of resisting an officer by giving false information. He was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Kevin Loston Jr., 21, of Lockette Lane, Sorrell, was arrested Friday at 6:31 p.m. on a charge of illegal possession of stolen things. He was released on a $1,000 bond.
Courtney Bourda, 31, of Lafayette, was arrested Saturday at 12:42 a.m. on warrants for 16th Judicial District Court for failure to appear on charges of identity theft over $1,000, illegal possession of stolen things over $1,500, possession of marijuana, and resisting an officer. Bourda was held on a $22,500 bond.
Edward Lightfoot, 41, of Baptiste Road, Baldwin, was arrested Saturday at 11:33 a.m. on a charge of simple battery and later released on a $500 bond.
Donald Welch, 49, of Robert Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:54 a.m. on charges of domestic battery and disturbing the peace. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
