Police Reports 5-12-15

St. Mary Parish Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:
Steve Scully, 49, of 117 Marin Lane, Patterson, was arrested Monday at 6:44 p.m. by narcotics division officers on charges of possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and improper lane usage.
Rhett Granier, 21, of 138 Natalie Lane, Patterson, was arrested Monday at 6:44 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and on a warrant charging him with domestic battery. Scully and Granier were arrested following a traffic stop in the Patterson area. Bonds had not been set as of this morning.
Three people were arrested after narcotics agents conduicted a search warrant at 102 Chirs Lane in Centerville.
John Werline, 61, and Michael Werline, 23, both of the Chris Lane residence, were taken into custody at 8:33 p.m. along with Galen Ford, 23, of 3091 La. 70, Morgan City.
John Werline was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, distribution of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and transactions involving drug proceeds.
Michael Werline was charged with possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia while Ford was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
John Werline was later released on a recognizance bond; Michael Werline was released on a summons. Bond on Ford had not been set as of this morning.
Stanford Edwards, 46, of New Iberia, was arrested Monday at 8:55 a.m. on a Baldwin Police Department warrant charging him with unauthorized use of collateral securities. Edwards turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and was later released on a $1,000 bond.
Susan Sons, 53, of 4020 John Street, Berwick, was arrested Monday at 3:40 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks and released on a summons.
Seth A. Lovett, 27, of, Gonzalez, was arrested Monday at 8:54 p.m. on charges of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage to property. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Kevin James, 29, of Iberia Street, at 7:19 a.m. this morning on a warrant charging him with domestic battery. Bond had not been set as of this morning.
