Police Reports 5-24-16

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division and Narcotics Division:
Caroline Jackson, 63, of 414 Seventh St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 2:25 p.m. and charged for no insurance. Jackson was released on a summons to appear in court.
Julie A. Menard, 28, of Ville Platte, was arrested Friday at 12:48 p.m. and charged on a warrant for attempted second degree murder, principal to aggravated kidnapping and obstruction of justice. Menard was released on a $10,000 recognizance bond.
Jose Melendez, 31, of 155 Village Ln., Amelia, was arrested Friday at 10:48 p.m. and charged for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, speeding, no driver’s license and possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Melendez was released on a $2,500 bond.
Travis Levine, 45, of 191 Eves St., Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 11:08 p.m. and charged for violating the parish ordinance regarding nuisance animals. Levine was released on a summons to appear in court.
Jacques Larroque, Jr., 21, of 217 Lewis St., Jeanerette, was arrested Friday at 11:27 p.m. and charged for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Larroque was released on a summons to appear in court.
Barrett Theriot, 37, of 280 Cane Rd., Centerville, was arrested Saturday at 1:01 a.m. and charged for the following offenses: domestic abuse battery, possession of marijuana, possession of schedule II (Adderall) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Theriot was released on a $7,500 bond.
Tasha Soprano, 36, of 280 Cane Rd., Centerville, was arrested Saturday at 1:01 a.m. and charged for domestic abuse battery and criminal damage to property. Soprano was transported to another facility for housing.
Tyler Scully, 23, of 504 Joey St., Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and charged for no insurance and expired vehicle registration. Scully was released on a summons to appear in court.
Gregory Williams, 57, of 518 Prairie Rd. North, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 3:43 p.m. and charged for resisting an officer. Bail was set at $1,000.
Sarah Webb, 30, of Baytown, TX was arrested Saturday at 6:48 p.m. and charged on the following warrants: warrant for failure to appear on the charges of principal to theft, child desertion, and improper child restraint, warrant for failure to appear on the charge of forgery and a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. No bail was set.
Donald Wages, 58, of 7212 US Highway 90, Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 9:40 p.m. and charged for stop sign violation and possession of a legend drug without a prescription. He was released on a $1,750 bond.
Elder Portillo-Vijil, 29, of 1401 B Barrow St., Amelia, was arrested Sunday at 3:20 a.m. and charged for disturbing the peace (intoxicated) and resisting an officer. He was released on a $2,000 bond.
Charles Adams, Jr., 64, of 1291 Prairie Road Cr., Verdunville, was arrested Sunday at 9:35 p.m. and charged for the following offenses: possession marijuana with intent to distribute, cultivation of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm in presence of a controlled dangerous substance and transactions involving drug proceeds. No bail was set.
Loveless Willis Jr., 31, of 412 South Marigny Cr Apt. D Lafayette, was arrested Monday at 2:52 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $27,405.
Caleb Decuir, 21, of Crowley, was arrested Monday at 2:53 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. No bail was set.
Dwight Williams, 30, of 210 Lacolby St., Lafayette, was arrested Monday at 2:54 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $2,697.26.
Kai Martin, 28, of Charenton, was arrested Monday at 2:57 p.m. and charged for failure to appear on the charge of theft of a motor vehicle. No bail is set.
Rayneice Simon, 25, of St. Martinville, was arrested Monday at 2:58 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft and on a warrant for probation violation. No bail was set.
Juvenile male, 15, of Berwick, was arrested Monday at 11:51 a.m. and charged for theft. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.
Ezekiel Anderson, IV, 24, of 1036 Irish Bend Rd. Franklin, was arrested Monday at 5:45 p.m. and charged on a warrant for two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm. No bail was set.
Steve P. Scallen, 28, of 1503 US Highway 90 West Lot #6 Patterson, was arrested Monday at 8:31 p.m. and charged for two counts domestic abuse battery. No bail was set.
Joseph P. Madise, Jr., 18, of 408 Saturn Rd., Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 12:11 a.m. and charged for criminal damage to property. Bail was set at $500.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Steven Williams, 39, of Steven Ln., Franklin, was arrested Monday at 4:34 p.m. for the charge of simple assault. Williams was processed and released to appear in Third Ward City Court.
Jesse Hart, 23, of Sixth St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 7:14 a.m. for the charges of obstructing a public passage and resisting an officer. Hart was also arrested on a warrant for Houma City Court for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. Hart was processed and held with no bond set.
