Police Reports 5-27-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the Uniformed Patrol Division and Narcotics Division:
Joseph Gioia, 57, of 103 Marin St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 1:40 p.m. and charged for violation of the parish leash law. Gioia was released on a summons to appear in court.
Leslie Matthews, 41, of 178 Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested Thursday at 1:16 p.m. and charged for domestic abuse battery. No bail was set.
Kendrick Fontenot, 34, of 1205 Garber St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 7:32 p.m. and charged for failure to signal a turn, possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in vehicles and possession of schedule II (codeine). No bail was set.
William Hale, III, 28, of 205 Cedar St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:39 a.m. and charged on a warrant for parole violation. No bail was set.
Juvenile male, 16, of Bayou Vista, was arrested Thursday at 9:46 p.m. and charged on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen things. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings. The case remains under investigation.
Michael J. Martin, 31, of 507 South Louisiana St., Jeanerette, was arrested Thursday at 9:59 p.m. and charged on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $14,805.53.
