Police Reports 5-9-16
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Lee Butler, 49, of St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 10:46 a.m. and charged on a warrant for the charge of simple burglary. Butler was processed and held with no bond set.
Sean Johnson, 43, of Eagle Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 12:27 p.m. on the charge of aggravated battery. Johnson was processed and held with no bond set.
Wesley Stevens, 52, of Stevens Lane, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 2:38 a.m. on charges of public intoxication, resisting an officer by giving false information, and possession of Schedule II narcotics. Stevens was also arrested on a probation violation for 6th Ward City Court. Stevens was processed and held with no bond set.
Billy Lajaynie, 47, of Second Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:01 p.m. on the charge of disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Lajaynie was processed and held on a $500 bond.
Frank Johnson, 56, of Houston, was arrested Saturday at 11:06 p.m. on the charge of driving while intoxicated. Johnson was processed and released on a $750 bond.
Earl Gunner, 27, of Darce Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 7:29 p.m. on the charges of domestic abuse battery-third offense and disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Gunner was processed and held with no bond set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Tana G. Carlson, 41, of 342 Easy St., Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:19 p.m. and charged with violation of the parish leash law ordinance. Carlson was released on a summons to appear in court.
Wilbert Poole III, 22, of 102 Todd Lane, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 3:32 p.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles. Poole was released after posting $250 bail.
Chad Williams, 27, of 123 Burchfield Lane, Berwick, was arrested Wednesday at 8:44 a.m. and charged withfailure to signal 100 feet prior to an intersection, stop sign violation, flight from an officer and driving under suspension. Williams was released on a $2,500 bond.
Tiffany L. Randolph, 26, of 132 Big Bear Lane, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:04 p.m. and charged with theft. Randolph was released on a summons to appear in court.
Johnathan Lindsey, 31, of 2713 Shaw Drive, Morgan City, was arrested Sunday at 2:09 a.m. and charged with improper lane usage, driving under suspension and possession of synthetic cannabinoids. Lindsey was released on a summons to appear in court.
James B. Gibson Jr., 32, of New Orleans, was arrested Sunday at 4:15 a.m. and charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle, driving under suspension, headlamps required, flight from an officer, littering, possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of Schedule II (promethazine), possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine), possession of a Legend Drug (tramadol) without a prescription and possession of a Legend Drug (cyproheptadine) without a prescription. No bail was set.
Somphone Khayankane, 34, of New Iberia, was arrested Monday at 12:48 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. No bail was set.
Earl W. Deare, 33, of 411 Tiffany St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 2:46 a.m. and charged with domestic abuse battery and criminal damage to property. No bail was set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrest:
Glenda Brown, 51, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday and charged with operating a vehicle while license is suspended, a warrant for St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for speeding and a warrant for Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for following too close and safety seatbelt required. She was released on a summons for operating a vehicle while license is expired. She was incarcerated at the parish jail for the warrants.
