Police Reports 6-1-16
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Gerald Sophus, 26, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested on a warrant on the charge of driving under suspension. Sophus was processed and released on a $1,000 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Allegra M. Ackerman, 35, of 736 Parish Road 131, Centerville, was arrested Tuesday at 10:58 a.m. and charged with violation of the parish leash law. Bail was set at $250.
Michael Johnson, 51, of 116 Choctaw St., Charenton, was arrested Tuesday at 12:47 p.m. and charged with reckless operation and failure to report an accident. Johnson was released on a summons to appear in court.
Tommy Carson, 45, of 519 Martin Luther King Drive, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 2:34 p.m. and charged with failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, violation of a uniform controlled dangerous substance law in a drug free zone and resisting an officer by flight. A correctional officer transported Carson from the Iberia Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.
Keithlin Antoine, 21, of 700 Adams St., Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 2:35 p.m. and charged on warrants for failure to register as a sex offender, warrant for failure to notify law enforcement of a change of address as a sex offender, warrant for failure to obtain a special ID card as a sex offender, warrant for failure to pay annual registration fee as a sex offender and failure to pay community notifications as a sex offender and a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. No bail was set.
Jessica LaSalle, 25, of 427 La. 182, Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. and charged on a civil warrant. No bail was set.
Anthony Wells, 63, of 913 Antiago Alley, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. and charged with maximum speed limit violation, driving under suspension and resisting an officer. He was released on a summons to appear in court.
Cory Fernandez, 27, of 1226 Delmar Avenue, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 12:52 a.m. and charged with domestic abuse battery. No bail was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the Narcotics Division made the following arrest:
Leroy Byers, 33, of 2416 Apple St., Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 9:31 p.m. and charged with possession of marijuana. Byers was released on a summons to appear in court.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Gage Landry, 18, of La. 182 West, Franklin, was arrested Sunday and charged with disturbing the peace and illegal possession of alcohol under the age of 21 and was released on a summons.
Michael Lance, 23, of Sawmill Drive, Garden City, was arrested Sunday and charged with unlawful purchase of alcohol for person under the age of 21 and was released on summons.
Trevor Guillotte, 28, of Yokely Road, Franklin, was arrested Monday and charged on two Jeanerette Police Department warrants for failure to appear for speeding and he was incarcerated at the Jeanerette Police Department Jail.
Franklin Third Ward Marshal David J. McCoy Jr. reported the following arrests:
Ronald McDaniel, 55, of 461 Gumpoint Lane, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 9 a.m. and charged on a bench warrant on a charge of failure to appear for review on original charges of driving under suspension (two counts) and careless operation of a motor vehicle. McDaniel is to serve a seven day executory sentence with no bond set.
Keithen Delasbour, 18, of 607 Rosebud St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 1:31 p.m. and charged on a bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original charge of possession of marijuana. Delasbour was held on bond.
