Police Reports 7-30-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest:
Rick J. McCurtis Jr., 34, of 544 Verdin Lane, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 12:59 p.m. on a state police warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender and a Lafayette Parish warrant on a charge of failure to appear. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents arrested Matthew Barras, 17, of 816 Iberia St., Franklin, Tuesday at 7:22 p.m. on a charge of possession of synthetic marijuana. He was released on a summons.
James Hill, 18, of 217 Morris Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 7:22 p.m. on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana and stop sign violation. He was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Chris Baptiste, 46, of Third Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 10:26 a.m. on warrants charging him with second offense theft by shoplifting and parole violation. He was held on $1,000 bond.
Holly Robb, 33, of Weber Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 11:51 a.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of alprolozam. She was released on $5,000 bond.
