Police Reports 8-16-16
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Kenneth Robertson, 31, of Jeanerette, was arrested Monday at 9:20 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family. He was held on $12,025 bail.
Frederick Mosely, 43, of 120 Bernard St., Patterson, was arrested Monday at 9:44 a.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks and released on a summons.
Therold James, 32, of Bayou Vista, Claude Charlot III, 23, of Patterson, and Dion Maize, 24, of Morgan City, were all additionally charged with criminal damage to property at 1:57 a.m. today. James was also charged with public intimidation.
A correctional officer at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center reportedly observed inmates James, Charlot and Maize causing damage to the windows in their cells. Correctional officers responded and relocated the inmates to another area of the facility. While being removed from a cell, inmate James allegedly made threats against a correctional officer’s life. All three suspects remain incarcerated.
Willie Landry Jr., 40, of Loreauville, was arrested Monday at 3:32 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of criminal neglect of family, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, violation of a drug free zone, possession in the presence of a minor and entering contraband into a jail. No bond was set.
Damon Guy, 24, of 513 Martin Luther King Avenue, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 7:40 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on a charge of speeding. He was released on $500 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of John Henry, 30, of Trowbridge Street, Franklin, Monday at 2:42 p.m. on a district court warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of possession of alprazolam. No bond was set.
Jose Campo Cruz, 42, of Myra Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 11:20 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery and was held with no bond set.
