Police Reports 8-19-15

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Corey A. Chapman, 50, of 403 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, was arrested Tuesday at 1:14 p.m. on warrants charging him with resisting an officer, criminal trespassing, two counts of resisting an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear on charges of theft.
A detective with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office was contacted by an investigator with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office in reference to an ongoing investigation into the armed robbery of a CVS Pharmacy in west Houma. According to the TPSO, detectives developed Chapman as a suspect in the crime through a tip. Chapman, who also had an active warrant from the SMPSO and a bench warrant, was located outside of a residence on Joseph Street in Amelia. When the SMPSO detective made contact with Chapman, he reportedly attempted to flee, pushing the detective and a deputy. No bond was set.
Jeremy Madison, 34, of Franklin, was charged Tuesday at 3:47 p.m. with a failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt, speeding and failure to honor written promise to appear. No bond was set.
Davonte J. Williams, 23, of 417 Bowman St., Morgan City, was charged Tuesday at 3:47 p.m. on failure to appear warrant on charges of direct contempt, improper lane use, no driver’s license, failure to honor written promise to appear and failure to use seatbelts. No bond was set.
Deitrich Hayes, 31, of 1026½ Ciro St., Siracusaville, was arrested Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. on charges of reckless operation and no driver’s license. Bond was set at $750.
Ronald Jones, 22, of 184 Yellow Bayou Road, Centerville, was arrested Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. on a charge of possession of marijuana and released on a summons.
Adam Randle, 33, of 248 Edmond Lane, Charenton, was arrested today at 1:59 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace and held on $250 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Donna Sam, 51, of Third Street, Franklin, Monday at 3:31 p.m. on a warrant charging her with interfering with police. She was released on $500 bond.
Lora Ladd, 45, of Main Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 9:20 a.m. on a warrant charging her with principal to shoplifting and released to appear in court.
Russell Tucker, 57, of Pinson, Alabama, was arrested Tuesday at 11:36 p.m. on charges of second offense DWI, improper lane use, no driver’s license and open alcohol container. No bond was set.
