Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the following arrests:
Shane Vallet, 24, of Broussard, was arrested Monday and charged with possession of a firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies, theft of a motor vehicle, violations of registration provisions, theft, penalty for distribution or possession with intent to distribute narcotic drugs listed in Schedule I; possession of marijuana, possession of synthetic cannabinoids; sale, distribution or possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited; exceptions; penalties, prohibited acts—Schedule III; penalties and determination of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Lorrie Verret, 35, of Charenton, was arrested Monday and charged for prohibited acts, Schedule III; penalties, theft of a motor vehicle, sale, distribution or possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited; exceptions; penalties. No bond was set.
Katelyn Bourque, 20, of La. 87, Franklin was arrested Monday and charged with prohibited acts, Schedule III; penalties, theft of a motor vehicle, sale, distribution or possession of legend drug without prescription or order prohibited; exceptions; penalties, prohibited acts, Schedule II; penalties, and penalties, penalties; determination of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Franklin Third Ward Marshal David J. McCoy Jr. reported the following arrest:
Darien Mitchell, 19, of New Iberia, was arrested Monday at 9:26 a.m. and charged on a warrant for impeding the flow of traffic, expired license plate and failure to obtain registration. Mitchell was released on a summons to appear in court.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest:
Denise Aucoin, 36, of 210 Mars Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Tuesday at 2:12 a.m. and charged on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of Schedule I drugs. No bail was set.
