Police Reports 9-22-14

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Iesha Davis, 23, of Cayce Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:53 p.m. on charges of theft under $300 and criminal trespassing. Davis was released on $1,500 bond.
Ricky Shoemaker, 32, of Cypress Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 5:20 p.m. on charges of resisting by giving false information and driving under suspension. He was released on $2,000 bond.
Kevin Roberson, 26, of Terrebonne Street, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 6:34 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant on charges of seatbelt violation and no driver’s license, and Morgan City failure to appear warrants charging him with two counts of no driver’s license and seatbelt violations. No bond was set.
Desmond Francis, 26, of La. 182, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 12:01 a.m. on warrants charging him with disturbing the peace by fighting and criminal trespassing, He was also charged with second offense possession of marijuana and released on $3,500 bond.
Alton Lumpkin III, 42, of Isabella Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 8:38 p.m. on a district court failure to appear warrant charging him with criminal neglect of family. He was held on $20,663 bond.
Frederick Jackson, 34, of Trowbridge Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:11 p.m. on charges of open alcohol container, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, possession of cocaine and stop sign violation. He was held on $10,500 bond.
Paris Madison, 42, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:48 p.m. on a charge of possession of cocaine and held with no bond set.
Laron Otis, 34, of Sterling Road, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:37 a.m. on a charge of third offense possession of marijuana and held on $10,000 bond.
Courtney Dupas, 24, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 12:37 a.m. on charges of fourth offense possession of marijuana, no driver’s license on person, no insurance, expired license plate and no registration in vehicle. He was released on $27,000 bond.
Travis Colbert, 35, of Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, was arrested Sunday at 2:31 a.m. on a charge of third offense possession of marijuana and district court failure to appear warrants on charges of two counts of resisting an officer, resisting by providing false information, stop sign violation, no driver’s license, no vehicle registration, improper use of registration/license and second offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.
Colbert later escaped from custody but was apprehended at 1:41 a.m. today with assistance from the sheriff’s department and Chitimacha Police. He was located at a residence on Martin Luther King Road in Charenton and charged with simple escape with no bond set.
Patrick Thomas Sr., 49, of Lafayette, was arrested today at 2:21 a.m. on sheriff’s warrants charging him with unauthorized use of a movable, simple kidnapping, simple assault and simple battery. No bond was set.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the arrest of Diedra Espadron, 49, of Gates Drive, Franklin, Friday at 9:28 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.
Christian Eugene, 39, of Grizzaffi Street, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 10:36 a.m. on three counts of failure to appear and was released on $500 bond.
Angelina Randle, 40, of John Street, Baldwin, was arrested Friday at 2:13 p.m. on two counts of failure to appear and was released on $5,334 bond.
Brennan Burney, 17, of Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 4:17 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery and released on $2,500 bond.
Osmedy Moreno, 34, of La. 83, Ashton, was arrested Friday at 10:48 p.m. on charges of possession of Schedule II and IV drugs. No bond was set.
Shawn Silas, 38, of Railroad Street, Jeanerette, was arrested Saturday at 1:13 a.m., and Joseph Silas, 35, of Inez Drive, Jeanerette, was arrested at 11:19 p.m. Friday on charges of remaining where forbidden. Both were released on summonses.
Stephen Foret, 22, of St. Peter Street, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 1:34 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting and released on a summons.
William Mora, 22, of Prairie Road North, Centerville, was arrested Saturday at 3:08 a.m. on charges of driving under suspension, reckless operation, open alcohol container and DWI. He was released on $6,000 bond.
Fran Keller, 51, of Main Street, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 10:38 a.m. on charges of two counts of battery on an officer, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and careless operation of a vehicle. No bond was set.
Gage Tapia, 21, of Natalie Lane, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 6:01 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear. No bond was set.
Justin Ford, 23, and Donna Branson, 21, both of Arkansas Street, Morgan City, were arrested Sunday at 6:22 p.m. on warrants charging them with theft. No bonds were set.
Roy Colbert, 38, of Chitimacha Trail, Charenton, was arrested Sunday at 4:02 p.m. on charges of resisting an officer and public intimidation. Bond was set at $3,000.
Shonna Madise, 39, of Bonnie Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 10:53 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace and released on $250 bond.
