Police Reports 9-3-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
A juvenile male, 13, of Charenton, was arrested Tuesday at 8:09 a.m. on charges of being an ungovernable juvenile, two counts of simple battery and criminal damage to property. A school resource officer at B.E. Boudreaux Middle School reportedly responded to a report of an ungovernable juvenile in a classroom. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the juvenile had struck one teacher and pushed another. Both teachers sought medical treatment at Franklin Foundation Hospital and were later released. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court action.
John Finister V, 21, of 104 Chris Lane, Centerville, was arrested Tuesday at 11:26 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of possession of alprazolam and clonazepam, possession of narcotics in the presence of a person under age 17, domestic abuse battery with a child present and disturbing the peace. No bond was set.
Chad Toups, 40, of 112 Doris Road, Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 11:37 a.m. on a warrant charging him with theft of a motor vehicle and was held with no bond set.
A juvenile female, 16, of Charenton, was arrested Tuesday at 4:59 p.m. on a charge of illegal possession of stolen things and was released to a guardian pending juvenile court.
Catrina Druilhet, 35, of 207 John St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 8:11 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant on a charge of theft and a warrant charging her with failure to comply with the terms of probation. No bond was set.
Narcotics Division agents reported that David Smith, 24, of 2413 La. 182, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 6:04 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to comply with the terms of drug court. He was held on $100,000 bond.
Payton Bailey, 18, of 3308 Lake Palourde Road, Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 7:23 p.m. on charges of improper lane use, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.
Grayce Haines, 19, of 715 General Hodges, Apt. 1, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday at 9:04 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and released on a summons.
Franklin Pearce III, 29, of 715 General Hodges, Apt. 1, Morgan City was arrested Tuesday at 9:04 p.m. on charges of second offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of Klonopin and bringing contraband into a jail. No bond was set.
Darren Jackson, 30, of 123 Lydia St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 9:04 p.m. on charges of third offense possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Baldwin Police Chief Gerald Minor reported the arrest of Cassie Matheren, 43, of Raceland, Aug. 27 at 1:50 p.m. on charges of accessory after the fact and was released on $2,500 bond.
Dominick M. Richard, 33, of 303 Willowdale Drive, Gray, was arrested Sunday at 4:11 a.m. on charges of reckless operation of a vehicle, aggravated resisting an officer by flight, speeding, open alcohol container and no driver’s license. No bond was set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Tramaine Butler, 20, of Franklin, Saturday at 1:40 a.m. on charges of remaining or entering after being forbidden, criminal trespassing and criminal damage to property. No bond was set.
Erica Compton, 18, of Charenton, was arrested Sunday at 2 a.m. on charges of criminal trespassing, unlawful use of a state ID and unlawful possession of alcohol. She was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Marjorie Ruffin, 24, of O’Neal Chube Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 9:55 a.m. on district court warrant charges of failure to appear on a charge of conspiracy to commit aggravated battery. Bond was set at $200,000.
Erica Sorrell, 43, of Robertson Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:53 a.m. on warrants charging her with simple criminal damage to property and unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. She was released on $5,250 bond.
Brooksie Romero, 20, of Old Spanish Trail, New Iberia, was arrested Tuesday at 11:37 a.m. by Iberia Parish deputies on a Franklin warrant charging her with theft under $500. She was held on $1,000 bond.
James Anderson, 50, of Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 10:25 p.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing and held with no bond set.
