Sheriff: Detectives investigating Verdunville truck theft

Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating a pickup truck reported stolen Wednesday from a residence in Verdunville, according to a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office news release.
On Wednesday, detectives began an investigation into a complaint of a stolen vehicle taken from a residence in the 1500 block of Verdunville Road in Verdunville, the release stated. According to the complainant, a 2008 black Dodge pick-up truck with Texas license plate number BT37681 was stolen from the residence overnight. The vehicle information has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database, the release stated.
