St. Mary Parish teens arrested in connection to Assumption Parish burglaries
Four St. Mary Parish teens have been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Assumption Parish, Sheriff Mike Waguespack said in a news release.
Jayd Adams, 17 of the 700 block of Kelli Drive, Patterson, and Mikayla Rock, 18 of the 100 block of Shady Grove, Patterson, were arrested Thursday in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of Aug. 26 in the area of Andras and Ann streets in Bayou L’ourse, Waguespack said.
Warrants have also been issued for the arrest of Kaleb Gros, 17 of the 100 block of Sun Street, Bayou Vista and Callen Slay Richard, 17 of the 1900 block of Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, he said. The two male subjects were arrested on Aug. 27 in St. Mary Parish on burglary charges relating to a string of burglaries in the Bayou Vista area, he said.
Adams and Rock were booked in the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Aug. 28 for four counts simple burglary, he said.
Their bond has been set at $20,000 each and had not bonded out as of the time of Frida’s news release.
