Teen dies from injuries in Lafourche Parish crash

LAROSE (AP) — State police say a teenager injured in head-on crash in Lafourche Parish on May 28 has died.
Troopers say a pickup driven by 20-year-old Michael Costello, of Golden Meadow, crossed the centerline of Louisiana Highway 1 and hit a Jeep being driven by 17-year-old Tyler Dufrene, of Gheens.
Trooper Evan Harrell says Dufrene, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to University Hospital in New Orleans, where he died Saturday.
