Wreck snarls traffic on U.S. 90 bridge

A two-vehicle wreck occurred at about 7:30 a.m. today on the U.S. 90 bridge in Morgan City. A refrigeration truck and a vehicle pulling a boat and trailer were involved in the crash, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Lt. Sennet Wiggins said. As of about 9 a.m. today, authorities cleared the bridge of the crash. No one had been transported to the hospital and neither driver had been cited in the crash, Wiggins said.
