Berwick beats Jeanerette, 63-44

The Berwick High School Panthers snapped a five-game losing streak Tuesday with a 63-44 victory against Jeanerette.
Kenan Jones led Berwick with 20 points, while Donaldson Tillman also reached double figures with 19.
Other scorers for the Panthers included Larenz Clark, eight; Audwin Williams, seven; Josh Carver, four; Collin Louviere, three; and Cody Roberie, two.
Prior to Tuesday’s victory, the Panthers had dropped several close games, including overtime losses to Christian Life and Thibodaux and a three-point defeat to Lafayette High.
Berwick (9-7) will return to action Monday when it opens play in North Vermilion’s tournament with a 4:30 p.m. contest against Rayne.
