Berwick beats Patterson 7-3

The Berwick Lady Panthers defeated Patterson 7-3 in District 9-3A softball action Tuesday.
No individual statistics were available for Berwick.
Taylor Hall took the loss on the mound for Patterson.
Rachel Easley finished 2-for-4 for the Lumberjills, while Gaylen Grogan was 1-for-3 with an RBI and Maddie Goolsby and Carli McIntyre each recorded an RBI.
Patterson (12-7 overall, 4-4) will return to action Friday when it plays at Runnels in a 5 p.m. contest.
Berwick (11-18 overall, 6-1 in district) will play a makeup game with Teurlings Catholic in Lafayette today at 4:30 p.m.
CCHS, MCHS games moved
Central Catholic and Morgan City high school’s softball games against Hanson Memorial and Vandebilt Catholic, respectively, have been moved to today.
Central Catholic and Hanson will play at 5 p.m. in Bayou Vista. A win by the Lady Eagles would clinch at least a share of the district title for the Morgan City-based squad.
Morgan City will play at Vandebilt Catholic in a 4 p.m. contest.
