Berwick bowlers top CCHS

Berwick defeated Central Catholic, 22-5, in high school bowling action Monday at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Abram Gilder led Berwick with a 616 series (182, 236, 198), while Aaron Barrilleaux added a 584 series (183, 191, 210). Other top bowlers included Mark Lemoine (249, 235), Brandon Lemoine (168, 225) and Scott Price (178).
Dave Laubach led Central Catholic with a 588 series (201, 164, 223), while Josh Abney had a 571 series (203, 195, 173). Other top contributors included Liam McCloy (160, 203) 516 series, Ashley Daigle (165, 161) 452 series and Emily Price (152, 158).

in roll-off
The Morgan City Lady Tigers competed in a round-robin roll-off Wednesday to determine the top three seeds at regionals Monday.
Morgan City, Central Lafourche and Ellender all finished the regular season 11-1, forging a three-way tie.
After Wednesday’s roll offs, Morgan City earned the No. 3 seed behind No. 1 Ellender and No. 2 Central Lafourche.
Morgan City was led in Wednesday’s action by Meghan Amador with games of 256 and 222.
