Berwick boys place second at Cardinal Relays

The Berwick Panthers finished second in boys competition at the Cardinal Relays at E.D. White Monday, and Kenan Jones shattered his triple jump mark during the competition.
The Panthers scored 105 points to finish runner-up to E.D. White, which scored 121 points.
Meanwhile, in the triple jump, Jones broke his school record of 45 feet, 2 inches with a leap of 45 feet, 9 inches to win the event by nearly three feet Monday.
On the girls side, the Berwick Lady Panthers finished fifth with 48 points.
Patterson and Central Catholic also competed in the event. Patterson finished eighth with 20 points in boys competition, while its girls team finished eighth with 18 points.
Central Catholic finished ninth in boys competition with eight points, while its girls team didn’t score any points.
