Berwick High's Panther Classic begins Thursday

The Berwick High School’s Panther Classic will begin Thursday and continues through Saturday.
The eight-team tournament will be played at a total of three fields — Berwick, Morgan City and E.D. White.
In addition to host Berwick, Morgan City and E.D. White, other participants include Catholic High-New Iberia, Covenant Christian Academy, Brusly, St. James and Lutcher.
Thursday’s area action includes Covenant Christian facing Berwick at 6 p.m. at Panther Diamond in Berwick, and Morgan City meeting Brusly at 5 p.m. at Tiger Diamond in Morgan City.
On Friday, area action at Panther Diamond includes Berwick meeting Catholic High-New Iberia at 8 p.m. in the nightcap.
At Tiger Diamond, Morgan City will meet St. James at 6 p.m., followed by E.D. White at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, Berwick will play Lutcher at 10 a.m. at Panther Diamond, while later in the day the Panthers will meet Brusly in the final game of the day at Panther Diamond in a 4 p.m. contest.
Meanwhile, Morgan City will play Lutcher Saturday at 2 p.m. in the finale at Tiger Diamond.
