Berwick scrimmages MCHS, Thibodaux
Berwick High School scrimmaged Morgan City and Thibodaux in round-robin action Wednesday at Morgan City High School.
In varsity action, scrimmages consisted of 30 minutes of running time with no score kept.
Against Morgan City, Sydney Aucoin led the team with six kills and one block. Other top contributors included Alyssa Gray, one kill, four assists and two digs; Jordan Lipari, two aces, one kill and one dig; and Mary Jordan Melancon, five digs.
Against Thibodaux, Aucoin had four kills. Other top offensive contributors included Gray, six assists and four digs; Brittney Roberie, 10 digs; Melancon, one assist and eight digs; and Lauren Skinner, two kills and one block.
Berwick won’t return to action until Aug. 25 when it participates in the Morgan City Jamboree.
