CCHS beats Gueydan

The Central Catholic Eagles finished their regular season on a high note with a 69-31 victory against Gueydan in District 7-1A action Wednesday.
Tyler Hoffpauir led the Eagles with 16 points while Samarick Paul scored 10 and Jalen Johnson, six.
Central Catholic’s regular season finale against Ellender Friday has been canceled so the Eagles now will await the release of the postseason brackets Monday.
The Eagles will enter the postseason as the District 7-1A runner-up with a record of 10-2, while overall, the squad is 16-11.
