CCHS falls to Lafayette Christian in a shootout, 46-42

Central Catholic fell to Lafayette Christian, 46-42, Thursday in Morgan City in both teams' District 7-1A opener.
Central Catholic (1-3) led 14-7 after the first quarter, but Lafayette Christian outscored the Eagles 20-9 in the second quarter for a 27-23 halftime advantage.
The Eagles retook the lead, 36-33, after three quarters before they were outscored 13-9 in the fourth quarter for the final margin.
