Centerville rallies by Maurepas

MAUREPAS _ Lance Howard scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, including the game winning basket with 2.3 seconds left to help the Centerville Bulldogs rally past the Maurepas Wolves 65-64 here Friday the MHS Gym in District 8-B action.
The Bulldogs trailed 46-35 heading into the final period until Howard helped the Bulldogs put up 30 points in the frame.
Centerville (4-14, 3-1 in 8-B) went on a 30-18 outburst in the final period when Howard heated up and poured in 14 of his team-high 20 points.
Leading scorers for Centerville were: Lance Howard, 20; Marvin Strawder, 12; Cameron Pogue, 12; Jaylon Williams, 10; Jaqualon Bourgeois, 4; Cole Candella, 4; Rodrick Harris, 2 and Desmond Monette, 1.
Centerville will host Holden on Tuesday at 5:30 in district action.
