Central Catholic falls to Vermilion Catholic

Central Catholic suffered its first loss of the season Thursday night, falling 48-30 to Vermilion Catholic.
The Eagles slip to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in District 7-1A play.
Stefano Guarisco led the Eagles in the contest with 44 carries for 279 yards and three touchdowns.

Central Catholic will return to action Oct. 23 when it hosts Hanson for homecoming in a District 7-1A contest.
