CHS’ Landry tosses no-hitter

CENTERVILLE _ Centerville pitcher Ashton Landry tossed a no-hitter as the Centerville Lady Bulldogs defeated Maurepas 10-0 in an abbreviated contest here Tuesday in District 8-B action.
With the win, the Centerville Lady Bulldogs improved to 13-3 overall and 4-0 in District 8-B action.
Ashton Landry worked five complete innings, striking out two, giving up no hits and no runs while walking one.
Leading hitters for Centerville included: Ashton Landry, sac bunt, run; Rylie Candella, 2 for 2, sac bunt, 3 runs, RBI; Taylor Saucier, 3 for 4, run, 2 RBI; Lacy LaGrange, 3 for 4, 3 doubles, run, 5 RBI; Victoria Theriot, 1 for 3, run, RBI; Rachel LeBlanc, 1 for 3, run, RBI; Grace LeBlanc, 1 for 3; Kennan Stelly, 1 for 2, run and Courtney Landry - 1 for 2, run.
The Centerville Lady Bulldogs will host the Holden Lady Rockets on Thursday at 4 p.m. in a District 8-B matchup.
