Football games moved up a day

Two area high school football games have been moved to Thursday night to avoid projected showers Friday.
Patterson High School’s District 8-3A contest at Franklin as well as Morgan City’s District 7-4A finale against Assumption in Napoleonville have been moved up a day.
Patterson and Assumption can clinch outright district titles with wins.
Both games are set for 7 p.m. starts.
