FSHS Lady Hornets fall to Notre Dame

The Franklin Lady Hornets volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to the Notre Dame Lady Pioneers Tuesday at the FSHS Girls Gym.
In the first match, Franklin lost by scores of 11-25, 9-25 and 8-25.
Leading scorers for Franklin included: Emily Marion, 3 kills; Samantha Frederick, 1 kill; Fabian Small, 3 kills, 2 assist, 1 block; Chardonnae Parker, 1 kill, 4 assists; Wynesha Jenkins, 1 kill; Abrianna Burrell, 3 kills, 2 assists and Aisha Ortiz, 3 assists.
In the second match, Franklin lost by scores of 11-25, 8-25 and 9-25.
Leading scorers for FSHS were: Emily Marion, 1 block; Kaira Butler, 2 kills; Fabian Small, 1 block; Abrianna Burrell, 1 block and 1 ace, Ashley Wilson, 1 assist.
Franklin’s next home game will be played on Thursday at 4 against Catholic High.
