Hebert tosses one-hitter in MCHS win

Morgan City’s Kennedy Hebert already has picked up the dominant form of her sister, 2015 MCHS graduate and four-year pitcher Tyler Hebert.
The younger Hebert recorded a one-hit shutout with 14 strikeouts in Morgan City’s 4-0 victory at H.L. Bourgeois Wednesday.
Morgan City plated three runs in the first and another in the fourth.
Hebert also led the Tigers at the plate as she finished 3-for-3 with two doubles, an RBI and a run.
Scottie Metrejean also finished 1-for-3 with an RBI for Morgan City.
Morgan City (1-0) will return to action today when it travels to face Lutcher in a 4 p.m. contest.
