HMS posts victory over Ascension Christian

GONZALES _ The No. 17 seed Hanson Memorial Tigers posted a 63-58 road victory over No. 16 seed Ascension Christian 63-58 in the first round of the Division IV playoffs.
Following the first round victory, Hanson Memorial had to play No. 1 seeded Southern Lab on Saturday morning on the road.
SCOTLANDVILLE _ No. 1 Southern Lab reportedly earned a 92-18 win over the Hanson Memorial Tigers here Saturday morning in the second round of the Division IV playoffs.
The Tigers finished the season with a 7-21 overall record.
