HMS Tigers turn back ESA Falcons

Bo Barrilleaux, Brennan Young and Britt Young scored in double figures, leading the Hanson Memorial Tigers to a 50-41 victory over the Episcopal School of Acadiana Falcons here Tuesday at the Billy Gene Talbot Gymnasium.
Hanson went on a 21-12 fourth quarter run to earn a comeback victory.
ESA opened with a slim 10-9 lead in the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Tigers gained a 24-22 advantage thanks to a 15-12 run. ESA benefitted from a 7-5 run in the third period to knot the game at 29-all. Down the stretch, the Tigers outpointed the Falcons by a 21-12 margin to ice away the 50-41 victory.
Barrilleaux led the Tigers with 15 points while Brennan Young finished with 13 and Britt Young tallied 11. Other top scores for the Tigers were: Josh Sanchez, 7; Clint Young, 2 and Kyler Clements, 2.
