Patterson High School fell to Catholic High of New Iberia 3-1 (12-25, 19-25, 26-24, 25-22) in District 2-IV volleyball action in New Iberia Wednesday.
Patterson had 13 aces and seven blocks in the win.
Arian Grogan and Erykah Singleton led the squad. Grogan had seven aces, three kills, one dig and two blocks, while Singleton recorded one ace, six kills and five blocks.
Other top contributors included Madison Paul, four aces, two kills and two digs; Tapanga Haven, five digs and three assists; Kara Lawrence, one kill and eight digs; and Katelyn Larson, one ace, five digs and one assist.
Patterson (7-18 overall, 1-6 in district) will return to action Tuesday when it hosts David Thibodaux in district play.
